Within the feed page, there's a horizontal menu bar of categories. One of these categories is labeled "Following". 

The "Following" feature allows you to filter the content on your feed page based on the users you follow.  
 

There is also a following update in the middle of the feed page, which allows you to see when your followers made a recent post. Their profile picture (circle) will appear in the following update. 

If you want to directly check their posts, you can click on their profile picture. You can also click on the following update, which directly goes to your following feed.
